He had the unenviable task of following Alan Power as custodian and guru of that estate, and that was a fairly serious \u2018ask\u2019. However, Mr. Parker proved to be a thoroughly decent chap who knew his stuff and could have given chapter and verse about the 2,650 acres of Hoare\u2019s legacy.
