Subscriptions were paid and willingly,\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW14932873 BCX0\">representing<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW14932873 BCX0\">\u00a0the best value for money since the demise of green and pink shield stamps. Membership cards were issued\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW14932873 BCX0\">containing<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW14932873 BCX0\">\u00a0the\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW14932873 BCX0\">programme<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW14932873 BCX0\">\u00a0for the year with details of how to access the Club website. Discount vouchers for\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW14932873 BCX0\">Brimsmore<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW14932873 BCX0\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW14932873 BCX0\">G<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW14932873 BCX0\">arden\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW14932873 BCX0\">C<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW14932873 BCX0\">entre were given to all and sundry as though they were going out of fashion. These were not to be taken lightly as they give 25% off the price of most goods, including all the glorious seed potatoes which\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW14932873 BCX0\">have replaced<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW14932873 BCX0\">\u00a0the Christmas paraphernalia which has been cluttering the shelves since August. Raffle tickets were sold, coffee drunk, biscuits\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW14932873 BCX0\">eaten,<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW14932873 BCX0\">\u00a0and the great 2026 potato growing competition was introduced. Katherine is a gardener from near Ham Hill with a pedigree as long as a bindweed root. She spoke about her allotment and how her cropping had developed over the years from mainstream vegetables such as carrots to more\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SpellingErrorV2Themed SCXW192967101 BCX0\">outre<\/span><span class=\"NormalTextRun SCXW192967101 BCX0\">\u00a0offerings such as Taunton Deane kale, rainbow chard, walking onions and other things that do not appear on the supermarket shelves.
